Who is The Edwin McCain Band?

Answer: Edwin McCain, is a band that is responcible for such hit songs as, Solitude, I'll Be, and I could not ask for more. The band consists of 5 members, Edwin McCain, Craig Shields, Scott Bannevich, Larry Chaney, and Dave Harrison.

Does The Edwin McCain Band have any other albums?

Answer: Yes! In fact, aside from his new release, "Messenger" Edwin has had 4 other albums. They include Nomadic Logic, Solitude, Honor Among Thieves, and Misguided Roses. Nomadic Logic, and Solitude can no longer be bought, unless your really lucky. There were not very many copies made. Nomadic Logic itself was not even released on CD. However, Solitude was.

Here is a list, and brief discription of each CD

Nomadic Logic was released in 1991. It was recorded at On Line Audio in Charleston, SC and Master Sound Studios in Atlanta, GA. This was Edwin's first independently released studio effort. This tape featured Scott Bannevich on the Bass guitar. Another interesting note is that the song "Emotionally" eventually became "America Street." Edwin kept the same chords, but changed all the lyrics.

Solitude was released in 1993. Recorded at Studio South in Augusta, GA. This was Edwin's second independently-released studio effort. This was the first Edwin McCain CD that featured Craig Shields on the saxophone. It was this CD and the vast touring of the Edwin McCain Band that caught the eye of Atlantic Records.

Honor Among Thieves was released in 1995. It was recorded at A&M Studios in Hollywood, CA. This is the Edwin McCain Band's major label debut on LAVA/Atlantic Records. "Solitude," the first single off Honor Among Thieves, received extensive airplay on VH-1 and radio stations across the country.

Misguided Roses was released on June 24th, 1997 on Lava/Atlantic Records. The first single, "See the Sky Again," demonstrates how the EMB has evolved as a band. "See the Sky Again" features the electric guitar and a new rich sound. Misguided Roses was recorded in Nashville, TN and was produced by Matt Rollings and Kenny Greenberg.
